Funday Friday

We FINALLY had a snowday this past Friday. It was so nice spending an unexpected day at home with Norah. We painted and then when Drew got home from work we headed outside to make a snowman. With a little hot chocolate afterwards and a cozy cuddle on the couch, it was a wonderful day at home!

Well, I don't know why I did it, but I broke down and bought Norah a Leapster Explorer. We are able to download learning videos, e-books, and games (which she is still a little young for) for her to watch and eventually play. She loves those videos on youtube so much I thought she would enjoy this. I think I was right!

We're Here.......

We have been so busy lately. Between work, physical therapy appointments for Norah's feet, meetings after school, and just simply spending time together I haven't found a lot of time to update the blog. We are still here though and here are just a few things little Norah has been up to!!!

Norah is absolutely obsessed with these little videos on youtube.  I read this blog and their little girl loved these videos, so I thought I would look them up for Norah.  They are so simple, yet she is so intrigued.  She gets very mad when it is time to put the video away.  It does not go over very well.  The videos are called An Alphabet Train, The Fruit Train, The Shape Train, The Color Train.  Parents, enjoy!

A sledding we will go....

This little sledding excursion happened probably two weeks ago...sorry, just a little behind. I thought they were so cute though, I had to share. Norah thought it was so funny when Drew would go running with her. She looked hilarious in her little sled, all bundled up. It was pretty cold out, so we weren't out for long. Sorry for all the pictures with Molly in them too. I'm not sure who had more fun Molly, Norah or her Daddy!?

Meat Pie

The weekend after New Years we headed to Port Huron for our annual Meat Pie party! It was another successful year of great food, drinks, and family! It was so much fun to watch all the kids together! We have four little ones in the family now! Addison is the oldest (3), then Norah (1 1/2), Kennedy (6 months) and Thatcher (1 month)! And, my cousin Matthew and his wife Katie are expecting their first baby in a few months! What a blessing to have all these little ones there to help celebrate the tradition we have had for the past 8 years! The next generation, here they come! Thank you everyone for a wonderful weekend! Can't wait for next year!

The Morning After

Christmas......Part 2

We had our second Christmas celebration this past weekend with Drew's family. It was so much fun watching all six girls together and Norah was really into opening gifts this year, so that made it even more enjoyable. All of the girls have so much fun together and we are so blessed to have such great little girls in this family. Thank you for everything, everyone! And all of you that won the money during the 'box' game......you know who you are....you're going down next year!!! :) Merry Christmas, again, everyone!

Christmas....Part 1

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We had a great time celebrating with family and friends. We are looking forward to our Christmas Part 2 this weekend when Drew's sister and her family come home from Cincinnati! I was so sad on Christmas morning when I realized we didn't get a family picture of all of us before church. This is the only picture I have of Norah in her pretty Christmas dress and fancy bows and shoes!

After we opened gifts at home, we headed to Doug and Janis' for a cup of coffee and then headed to Mom and Dad's house to spend the rest of the day.
