First Camp Visit

Mom and Dad were camping in Harbor Beach this past weekend, so we decided to drive up Saturday morning to enjoy a bloody mary around the campfire. This was Norah's first faux camping experience. Hopefully she will have many more real camping experiences in the future!

I was thinking to myself the other day that I don't have enough pictures of Norah (ha! ridiculous thought, I know), so I decided to take her to my parent's house for an impromptu photoshoot!

My Dad was looking through some car magazines and saw these little old-fashioned pedal cars for kids.  He was going to order one for Norah, but he ended up with a great find at a garage sale actually, and bought this little yellow taxi pedal car for Norah.  It has never been used by kids, so it is in tip-top shape.  I can't wait to see her cruising up and down the sidewalk someday in it!  Thanks Grandpa

2 months old!

Whirlwind of a Weekend!

We had such a busy, wonderful weekend full of lots of events.  On Friday night we celebrated Grammy's birthday out at Mark and Ashlie's house!  We had a wonderful meal and delicious dessert!  Then, Aunt Jennifer got to babysit for the girls while we headed next door to celebrate Terry and Lisa Ernst and their time at Verona Hills.  They are moving in October and we are all going to miss them very much!  Saturday, Drew went to the Michigan State football game, Norah spent some time with Grammy and Aunt Jennifer and I headed to Rochester with my Mom and Aunt Dinah for Erin's bachelorette spa day!  We started at the Fieldstone Winery where we did a tasting!  Yummy!  Then, we went to LUV salon for manicures and pedicures.  After our pampering, we went to Kruse and Muer for dinner.  We had a great time and can't believe that the wedding is only two short weeks away!  Today, we had one more celebration.  Norah was baptized today and it was one of the best days ever!  Drew and I were so emotional today seeing our little girl in her beautiful white gown knowing what was happening today!   We are so blessed to have her and today just made those feelings of love even more evident!  Thank you to Norah's grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins for celebrating with us and making this day so special!

Our Little Pumpkin

We headed to Harold and Peggy's house on Friday night to get Norah's first pumpkin. We chose a nice big one so we can carve it out, put Norah inside and take pictures. Any chance for a photo shoot, we will take it! We had a great time watching Audrey and Lilly pick out their pumpkins too! Thanks for the pumpkins, Harold and Peggy!

Overnight trip

This past weekend we headed to Port Huron for my cousin's wedding. This was our first overnight trip since Norah was born. Everything went great! We had a great time and the wedding was beautiful. Congrats Matt and Katie!
