First Haircut....at 8 Months Old!

We finally broke down and retired the mullet. As you all know, Norah has had a full head of hair since she was born. Well, the "business in the front, party in the back" just wasn't working for us anymore. I thought I would give her a little trim, a little style, in the back. I think it turned out great!

So far, so good.  Drew sat in front of her the whole time (except to take this picture :) ) to keep her distracted!  It worked!

There Was Hope......

that spring was near.....but, boy oh boy, were we wrong. We actually got outside last week and were able to go for a walk. It was so nice to be out in the fresh air and Norah had a great time "checking out all the sights" along the way. She enjoyed it so much it put her right to sleep. Well, we all know here in Michigan, one day of sunshine doesn't mean it is going to stick around. I am now home today because of a snow day...if we were in the middle of December I would be ecstatic. However, it is the end of March and this is our 8th snow day. Enough already! The one upside....I have this beautiful baby girl to stay home with! :) I guess I can't complain too much!

More Look Alikes

I'm not sure it is normal for one little girl to remind us of so many different celebrities and now cartoon characters. I showed my students the movie Monsters Inc. the other day as their end of the month reward. Every time Boo came on the screen and made her little screeching noises I kept thinking in my head, "Oh my gosh, that is Norah!" Too cute!

Then, a little boy was at Smith Dist. the other day and asked my Aunt Dinah, "Who is that on the computer screen? She looks like Despicable Me..." Drew had to look it up and Agnes is the baby in the movie Despicable Me. I think it is so funny that another kid compared her to a cartoon. More look alikes to come in the future....I'm sure!

Although we compare her to all of these characters....she is just our little Norah, our little baby nut....

Those Pesky Puffs

Norah has been working on feeding herself her puff treats. She doesn't quite have the hang of it yet, but yesterday she managed to sneak one little puff in her mouth. As you can tell, by all the pictures I took, I was pretty excited!

"Hmm.....how am I supposed to get those in my mouth?"

"I guess I'll give it a shot!"

"This is easier said than done!"

"Oh, I'm so close......I can taste it!"

"Now somebody else feed me, that was too much work."

Welcome Harper Michael!!!!

Our good friends, Grant and Lyndsey, welcomed their baby boy, Harper Michael, on Friday! He was born at 9:49am and was 7 lbs. 13 oz. (I hope I have these stats right! :) ). We can't wait to meet the little man! Congrats Grant and Lynds!

The Next Generation

We were able to get together with my friends Renee and Jennifer this past weekend. It was so great to have the three kiddos together. It is the first time we got to meet Renee and Brian's daughter, Bryn and Cole is getting so big!!! I wish we could all get together more often, but any chance we get to visit is wonderful!!!
