Fun at the Fair

We headed to the fair on Wednesday evening so Norah could see the animals and we could hit up the Lions Club for dinner. Norah loved the animals and watching all the flashing lights on the rides. She even started dancing to Justin Bieber when he came on one of the rides! :) Gotta love JB! We finished up with dinner at the Lions Club, but unfortunately for us, like Mark and Ashlie last year, their malt machine was broken! :( Man! I was so looking forward to that chocolatey goodness. Oh well! The Gibby's fries will have to suffice!

Hello Goat!

She wasn't quite sure about the geese at first.  They were a little loud! :)

The little girl saw how much Norah liked looking at the chickens, so she asked is she could pet one.  Well, sure...we'll never pass up a  chance to pet a chicken!  Ha!  She loved it!

Fun in the Sun

Ashlie, the girls and I headed up to Port Crescent Day Use on Monday afternoon. Even though I had a house to pick up after Norah's party, Ashlie convinced me it would all be there waiting for me when I got home, so off we went! It was a perfect day; not too hot, not too cold, great breeze and sunny! Thanks for a great day at the beach girls!

Birthday Recap

Happy Birthday Norah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, now that I am done bawling...(when I opened our blog and saw the age ticker at the top, I lost it!!! Our baby is 1 year old. Happy Birthday! Wow!). It is just so surreal that an entire year has passed and here we are with this beautiful little girl who is so full of personality and life! We love you Norah Kathryn!!! You are the best little girl in the whole wide world!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

Family Time

We have had a fun couple of days!! Last night we decided to take a walk to the nearby park and let Norah swing for a little bit. While we were there we discovered she was much more interested in the sandbox. She was digging, pushing, crawling and just loving the feeling of the sand between her toes. I think we figured out what we need in our backyard! Then, this morning we got up and after breakfast we decided to head to the city park and play a little tennis. Yes, I said tennis. Drew had shown some interest in starting to play and so I got him (and I) a racket for his birthday, so we thought we would give it a go. Norah was set with her snack cup and juice and we were ready for a fun little workout! I must say, we have a looooong way to go when it comes to our tennis skills, but it sure was fun! I think we might find ourselves on the courts several more times this summer! I really need to work on my backhand! :)

Happy Birthday!!!!!!

Happy 30th birthday to the most wonderful husband and daddy in the whole world!!!!! We love you so much!!

And, I would have to say it was a pretty successful birthday weekend, considering Drew and his partner Ryan took first place at the Verona Hills Invitational this year! Way to go boys! We are so proud of you!

4th of July Celebrations

We had a fun 4th of July weekend with family. We spent the day on Monday at Doug and Janis' house with the Brinings and Hamiltons. All of the kids had a great time in the pool. It was so fun watching Norah watch everyone else! Then, on Tuesday we headed to my parent's house for a cookout. It was wonderful to see everyone. What a great holiday weekend!

Garage Sale Mania

Ashlie and I decided, sort of last minute, to have a garage sale this past Thursday and Friday. We had a pretty successful day on Thursday and it was slow on Friday, so we packed up early! We had a lot left over to donate, but we made a little extra spending money and had fun doing it! Let me tell you, it is exhausting having a garage sale though! Phew! The girls spent the day with Grammy on Thursday and then helped us on Friday morning!  They were great little helpers and attracted quite the attention from our customers!
