Smells like campfire!!!!!

We went camping in Harbor Beach this weekend.

There is nothing like good food, lots of laughs

and family around the campfire.

This was the sky on Saturday night. A nice big storm

came rolling in after a day of hot and humid weather.
The lightning must have been too bright for Drew!

flavored lager. We like to call it "Wild Jude"! It
is one of moms new favorites!

Verona Hills Club Championship

Drew came back and shot a 71 on Sunday at the Verona Hills Club

Championship.This forced him into a playoff with Brent Wehner.

They rallied back and forth in a FIVE hole playoff and Drew came up just

short to win 2nd place. It was some of the most exciting golf Verona

had ever witnessed. I am so proud of him and his performance. I am glad

someone was calm and could perform, because I was a

NERVOUS WRECK!

Congratulations Drew!!!!!!

I couldn't handle the PRESSURE!!!!!!!!!

I am so happy I have gotten to play as much golf as I have this summer.

My husband has taught me well. I have even gone golfing without

him and I actually know which clubs to use now!

We spent a lovely evening out at Verona the other night.

Drew is preparing for the Club Championship and I am just

there to practice a little and be the photographer!!!

Drew's Birthday

We enjoyed a nice birthday with Drew's family and then I took him away for a surprise birthday weekend to St. Clair Shores. We had a room on the river and we watched the frieghters go by, had a picnic, and enjoyed a wonderful dinner at The Voyageur while the Venetian Boat Show passed by.

So much to catch up on!

We have had a very busy summer! I meant to get started on this blog awhile ago, but it just didn't happen. So I am basically going to make up for all of the lost time now.

I absolutely loved my summer job! I was working for the Bad Axe Parks and Recreation program and had a blast. It is done now and I miss it terribly. Here are some pictures from my summer job!

Drew and I have had two summer weddings. Kristie and Brent Warner and Renee and Brian Flanagan. Both ladies are my high school friends. Unfortunately, Drew could not make it to Kristie's wedding reception because his allergies (we think :) ) got the best of him. Luckily, he was able to join me at Renee's wedding and it was a wonderful celebration!
