Cincinnati Easter

We spent Easter weekend in Cincinnati with the Hamiltons this year! We headed down on Friday and came back on Monday. It was so great to see all the girls and Jennifer and Dan. Sorry for all the pictures, but I wanted to share a little something with you from each day. We hope everyone had a great Easter!

This was on Saturday morning...all the girls!  And yes, that is Norah trying to get on her hands and knees.........and her FIRST TOOTH POPPED THROUGH THIS WEEKEND.  Such a big girl!

Norah loved playing with the Little People set that the girls had.  Emma and Norah had so much fun playing together!

We headed to the Cincinnati Zoo on Saturday.  It was dry enough when we got there to get a picture of all the girls.  Unfortunately, Mother Nature had a different agenda that day.  About an hour later we were running back to the cars in the thunder and pouring rain.  We still had a great time and Norah loved seeing the animals.

Norah got in bed with the girls on Monday morning before the girls got ready to leave for school.
We had such a wonderful time and made lots of great memories for Norah's first Easter!  Thanks for everything Hamiltons!!!!!  Love you all!

Easter Preview

It was ABSOLUTELY beautiful here today...in the 70's...so I took Norah outside in her Easter dress for an Easter photoshoot. This is just a preview! I had to save a few for the Easter card we are sending out! Stay tuned!

Urlaub

We took a little 'mini' vacation to Frankenmuth this past weekend. We left on Sunday and stayed overnight. When we got there on Sunday the weather was terrible, so we couldn't walk around the shops in town, so we decided to head to Bronners for a bit. It was perfect because there was no one there; no crowds to fight with and we could just enjoy our time. Then we headed back to the hotel, fed Norah and then headed to the Frankenmuth Brewery for dinner. It was delicious and Norah enjoyed the yogurt the waitress brought her. On Monday morning we got up and headed to the pool. This was Norah's first experience in a pool and she loved it! I know she is going to love it this summer! We went back to the room, cleaned up and headed to the outlets for some much needed retail therapy. Norah was sooooo good all day; quite the trooper for all the running around! It was fun just getting away, even if it was for one night, and spending some time together. Great way to start my spring break!

First Haircut....at 8 Months Old!

We finally broke down and retired the mullet. As you all know, Norah has had a full head of hair since she was born. Well, the "business in the front, party in the back" just wasn't working for us anymore. I thought I would give her a little trim, a little style, in the back. I think it turned out great!

So far, so good.  Drew sat in front of her the whole time (except to take this picture :) ) to keep her distracted!  It worked!

There Was Hope......

that spring was near.....but, boy oh boy, were we wrong. We actually got outside last week and were able to go for a walk. It was so nice to be out in the fresh air and Norah had a great time "checking out all the sights" along the way. She enjoyed it so much it put her right to sleep. Well, we all know here in Michigan, one day of sunshine doesn't mean it is going to stick around. I am now home today because of a snow day...if we were in the middle of December I would be ecstatic. However, it is the end of March and this is our 8th snow day. Enough already! The one upside....I have this beautiful baby girl to stay home with! :) I guess I can't complain too much!
