These are pictures I took of my cousin Kristy's little guy, Jackson, at Thanksgiving! Drew keeps teasing me that we are going to need a whole new computer after we have a baby....he must think I am going to get a little out of control with pictures or something. I can't imagine why he would think that! :)

Well, it's official!

Drew and I are happy to announce that we are 7 weeks pregnant!!!! We were able to tell our parents on November 24th and we told the rest of our family on Thanksgiving, which was also our four year wedding anniversary. It was such a special week for us! We also had our first ultrasound on November 25th and saw the heartbeat for the first time! I can't wait until we get to hear the heartbeat. Our next appointment is on December 23rd, so we will be excited to have new ultrasound pictures right before Christmas!

Baby Cubitt

Ashlie and I went to Jennifer Cubitt's baby shower on Sunday. It was great seeing her open all of her gifts and spending time with friends. She definately got enough Spartan stuff to last for awhile. I don't think this child is going to have a choice about who they cheer for! While I was there I took the opportunity to take a couple belly shots of Jenn. We are going to take a few more around Thanksgiving and then I am going to head back down to their house after the baby is born to take some pictures! I can't wait! Enjoy the pics!

10-2-10

My brother and Erin are getting married on October 2nd, 2010. We were able to get a few engagement pictures the other day! I am just so glad there was still a little color outside. This slideshow doesn't show the pictures in the best quality, but you get the gist! Make sure you have your volume up to enjoy the song too!

Realizing why I love photography

Well, I thought I was in love with photographing nature, but I now realize that there is nothing better than photographing children. How could I not come home in an excellent mood after taking these pictures. What an amazing thing it is to capture children's emotion in a photograph. AAAhhhh.....so satisfying! Thank you to Shelly, Shannon and Chrissy for letting me use your children to practice on. I hope you love the outcome as much as I do!
