Drew and I decided it was time we try this camping stuff on our own. For those of you who don't know, we have never been camping without my parents. That means, we are used to all of their amenities (bathroom, running water, etc.....), but we decided it was time for us to rough it. We did borrow a few things from my parents, but other than that we were on our own just Drew, Molly, me, a tent and a couple of chairs. It rained and poured on Saturday so badly that the EZ up collapsed and broke :( (sorry Mom and Dad). We got everything dried out though and just tried to stay positive and keep smiles on our faces. We had a fabulous time and are glad to be back home now safe and DRY!

What it looked like after the downpour! :(
I took a walk down to the beach on Saturday evening after the storm had passed. The boat race was taking place from Port Huron to Mackinaw. You can't really see the sailboats in these pictures, but when they are blown up bigger you can!
