Norah has been a little sponge lately. Remember those youtube videos I mentioned here? Well, they continue to be a favorite around here, but now Norah is actually imitating them. Sorry the video is so long.....if you only have a couple minutes you will see her say the alphabet and her numbers. If you have 5 minutes (how could you not have 5 minutes to watch this sweet girl? :) ) you will see her also practicing her fruits, shapes and colors. Enjoy!

Happy Easter

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. Easter for us this year was a totally new experience and SO MUCH FUN! I wasn't sure Norah would get the whole "egg hunt" thing. Well, she got it! We woke her up at about 7:45am so we would have time for all the festivities before church. As soon as she walked out of her room there were eggs for her to find! The best part was watching her face when she opened the eggs and found candy. She looked at us like, "Is this real? No...you aren't gonna let me eat this right now." To her surprise we did and she couldn't have been more thrilled. She was shaking, literally shaking, she was so excited! We had a wonderful morning searching for eggs and playing with all the fun stuff the Easter Bunny brought. Then, we headed to church and then to Grammy and Papa's for dinner and another egg hunt! Needless to say, someone has had enough candy for awhile!

Detroit Zoo

Yesterday we headed to the Detroit zoo with Ashlie, Audrey and Lilly. It turned out to be a sunny, pretty decent day! Norah had so much fun seeing all the different animals and I think her favorite part was eating her Dippin' Dots to finish up the trip! She ate the whole bowl herself!

Easter Eggs

Norah had her first Easter egg dying experience tonight! She did great, but I think she was more interested in the stickers part than the dying part! Now, I wonder where the Easter Bunny is going to hide them Saturday night! :)

Well, Norah got her first taste of being a big sister yesterday. We had a crazy couple of days in our family in terms of babies! My cousin T.J. and his wife Chrissy welcomed their second little girl into the world on Sunday night! Mollie Sue was born at 10:57pm and was 5lbs. 15oz. Then, my cousin Alison and her husband Don welcomed their first baby girl into the world on Monday morning. Sophie Rose was 6lbs. 1oz. and is just adorable. Since my cousin T.J. and Chrissy live right here in town we were able to go to the hospital and meet little Mollie! I was a little nervous about how Norah would react....but boy, oh boy.....she is like A PRO!! She held on to that little baby like it was her job. Drew and I kept asking if we could hold Mollie and she just kept shaking her head no! I got very emotional heading up to the maternity ward. I apologized to Chrissy when I walked in all teary eyed, but it just made everything so real! Hard to believe we will be up there in 5 months with Norah's own little sister or brother!!!!! Can't wait!

Let's Go Fly a Kite!

On Sunday it was so nice out and we knew this week was going to be a different story (it was like a high of 35 today....ridiculous!), so we decided to head to the school to fly a kite with Norah and then let her play a little bit! I actually think Drew and I had more fun flying the kite. I haven't done that in years, but it is fun!
