Up North

We left on the 3rd to head up to Boyne Mtn. for five nights with Drew's family. We rented a house and enjoyed a lovely weekend together. The men got to golf, the ladies got to bask in their glory at the SPA, and the kids had a great time swimming in the lake and pool. Here are some of my favorite pics from the weekend! Of course I have to show some of my nature photography first. This was the first morning that we were there and Drew woke me up at about ten to six (which is just unheard of for me!! We all know this). He said, "Stephanie, you have to get up and get your camera, it is gorgeous out here!" So we quickly got up and headed out to the lake. The fog with the rising sun was unreal! Enjoy!

Family Photo Session

Erin, the woman who made our wedding invitations (and Ashlie's college friend), contacted me and asked me to take family pictures of her family while they were up for the 4th of July weekend. I am so glad I was able to have this experience. It was wonderful watching the kids play around and capture those moments. Everyone was so wonderful and I really enjoyed taking all of these pictures. I think some of them turned out really great! I was really nervous, just because I have not worked with a large group of people before and was worried I wouldn't position them correctly or not capture the photos they were hoping for. Here is just a small taste of what I took. I am going to post quite a few, just because I want to share them with all of you. I was going to edit a couple of these and add light or softness to a couple of them, but I couldn't wait to post them. If I do any of that editing stuff, I will repost! Erin, I hope you get to check this out and can share with your family before I get the CD sent out! Thanks again!
