Bathing Beauty

Norah loves her baths, but I only had a foam pad for her to lay down in the bath and now that she is sitting up, she wanted to sit up in the bath and play. I wasn't sure what to get to help her sit up in the tub, but I think I found the perfect thing. It is basically like her Boppy pillow, but for the tub....fantastic, right? So we tried it out the other night.....and this morning, since our daughter woke up with poop from her head to her last little toe this morning! :) She seems to like it!

Mmmm....Mum-Mums!

Now that Norah is eating solids (yummy veggies and fruit) we decided to try some Mum-Mums. These a just a little freeze dried rice snack that dissolves in her mouth. She is doing pretty good with them. It is funny trying to watch her get them in her mouth....she doesn't exactly have the fine motor skills or hand-eye coordination yet! :)

This Is What Happens......

Ashlie and I are in charge of our "Kick-Off to Reading Night" at school, which is the first week of March, so we had to get together for a couple hours today and discuss our plans. The girls hung out, playing and reading together!

Sippy and Piggies

We have had a couple milestones the last couple days while we have been locked up in the house during our snow days (three in a row, might I add....nothing like a surprise 5 day weekend)! Norah drank out of her sippy cup for the first time yesterday. I had tried giving her the sippy about a week or so ago and she showed no interest, so I thought I'd try again. She took down two ounces like it was her job! Such a big girl! Then, she had piggies in her hair for the first time yesterday. Just too darn cute! And last, but not least, she is sitting up on her own, no Boppy pillow or anything, for a minute or so at a time. I told some people last night, I just want to push her over and say, "No, not yet.....you can't sit up like a big girl yet!". But, the reality is setting in that she is just growing up so fast and we have lots more milestones and fun times to look forward to!!!!!!
